Whether you’re dealing with stress, trauma, grief, abuse, suicide, or eating disorders for women, men, children, and families. There are safe, accessible, and culturally sensitive spaces online and around the world that can offer you guidance, listening ears, and culturally sensitive support. These services can be accessed from anywhere, many offering chat or text options.

  • Women’s Aid (UK) – Support for survivors of domestic violence.


  • RAINN (US) – Sexual assault hotline (1-800-656-HOPE).


  • Helping Survivors - Assist anyone who has been victimized by sexual assault or abuse. They offer resources to assist survivors and their families.


  • RideShare Sexual Assault (USA) - Offers legal support with sexual abuse on ride-share platforms like Uber, Lyfts etc. They also provide safety guide.


  • The Ark Foundation (Ghana) - Offers a safe haven for vulnerable and abused persons, particularly for women and children. They provide counseling, hotline for emergency support, family legal aid, trauma prevention, shelter and training programs.


  • Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF) (Nigeria) - Combat and advocate against the high prevalence of sexual and gender-based violence and human trafficking of young girls and women across Nigeria and Africa. They offer psychosocial counselling, legal aid, trauma crisis, safe shelter, medical care, and vocational training.


  • Jimmia Women Rescue Centre (Kenya) - A peaceful safe haven for the vulnerable and abused women and their children. They offer counselling services, home visits, food support etc
